Purpose
DNV Navigator Services provide vessels with timely information and forms needed to meet Port State Authorities’ requirements.
Our services assist naval officers and ship managers to:
Information
Information is collected from recognised sources like British Admiralty, IHS Fairplay, IMO and national authorities. It is updated weekly by email and three times per year by CD. Use of Port Entry and Departure Checklists and a dense web of links make the information easily accessible.
Reporting
The forms are programmatically linked to the logs and databases of the vessel and are automatically filled in with the relevant data as soon as they are opened. Thereby the preparation of reports is reduced to a matter of seconds or minutes. DNV Navigator includes eNOA/D reporting to the US Coast Guard as well as electronic reporting to other countries such as Australia, Singapore, Germany, Sweden, New Zealand, Ecuador, CARICOM and the Panama Canal. Our services meet any new requirements regarding electronic reporting when these come into force.
