Subsea+training

The DNV subsea training programme is founded on the Recommended Practices covering aspects of subsea technology from the concept stage to operation.

The training programme has a holistic design. It is built up as a module concept, with a generic course covering general subsea technology: Introduction to subsea systems.

Today, we have specialist courses going deeper into three subject areas: XMT design, subsea production systems and subsea separator design.

Subsea production systems

This introductory course will enable professionals to actively participate in meetings with clients and contactors and identify key players in the business area. It explains the physics from a practical system perspective which also gives engineers a good foundation recommended before attending specialist courses.

XT design

This course will give a ”jump start” in XT technology which will increase your competence with at least two years of ‘on the job training’. It gives the understanding of how safely to execute a XT development project and is recommended for X-mas tree product engineers.
